By 2007, Education for the World was officially incorporated
and received tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service.
As of 2016, the organization has over ten graduates and a half dozen current students.
Full sponsorship includes paying for registration and tuition fees, for
school supplies, and for a small monthly stipend, which allows
students to spend more time studying, instead of working.

opportunities and also to a higher standard of living. It is our hope
that the initial effort becomes a self-sustaining process in which
those helped go on to help others. For a more detailed description of our genesis and goals, watch the video introduction or read Mike's story.
